2012,05,11, Friday 農業の表現 　春に植えた苗木が、ひと月あまりして、新梢を伸ばし始めています。栄養を欲しがっている。この芽をさらに伸ばし、充実させるよう、それを見計らって肥料をやります。 　現役農家の老人たちが言うには、「苗木はエサのあるところに自分で根を伸ばす。だから肥料はちょっと広めに施れよ。そしたら根張りが広くなって土台も安定するけん」とのこと。この人たちの人生観がよく表れてるようで、ぐっときます。 　この段畑でミカンの栽培が本格的に始まったのは昭和30年代のこと。それまでは芋、麦の生産が中心で、景観がまるで違っていました。そこに苗木を植えていったのがこの老人たちで、誰よりも多くのミカンを育ててきました。 続き▽ | なんち屋 | comments (0) | trackback (0) |
